This is how it all started…

A couple of years ago we were getting to read The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe as a family read aloud and it just so happened to snow that very day and I decided we should do a Tea Party as we began to read and a family tradition was born. As with most things this family tradition started off small and then quickly evolved into bigger and more elaborate celebrations that now encompass all four seasons. Our family is still in a season of adding new members to our family, so some years have been more relaxed and other years with the help of the older children it has turned into elaborate shenanigans. It is my hope that whether we had an elaborate or simple year of celebrations that joyful memories are being created and our family culture is being strengthened, and I hope that this blog will help you create your own family memories.
